Prepare in advance

Before milling, you must do the machine inspection and pre-work preparation, start the motor, and the standby machine can run normally before milling.

Matters needing attention in processing

When performing cutting, cutting, and starting operations, select the milling cutter according to the mouth shape, groove shape, and line shape of the machined part. When choosing an assembled milling cutter, install the blade firmly on the tool holder, then use a ruler to check whether the cutting edge is neat, and finally install the milling cutter on the cutter shaft.

For larger components, two persons should be used to operate, push-pull and push-pull must be closely coordinated, and the speed must be uniform and not too fast. It should adapt to the rotation speed of the milling cutter, and slow down when it encounters knots. When the workpiece is processed to about 200mm, a wooden push rod can be used to prevent hand injury.

When doing the cutting operation, usually two people are required to operate, hold the wood along the table with your hands, release it at a distance of 20mm from the knife edge, and then loosen the wood at a distance of 15mm from the knife edge.

When you choose the whole milling cutter

you can install it directly. After tightening with the cutter shaft, turn the hand wheel to adjust the milling cutter to the required height. Adjust the guide plate and install it firmly, and cover the protective cover. When working, start the motor, and after normal operation, move the component along the guide plate on the table, press the front of the component with the left hand, and push the rod backward with the right hand.

During operation, clamp the specified wood on the cart, and the end of the wood can be tenoned while the cart is moving forward.

Milling curved parts

A curved guide plate should be designed according to the shape of the part, not a guide ruler, and the plate should be fixed on the worktable. The curved surface of the mold should be consistent with the curved surface of the machined part. During operation, clamp the part on the mold, so that the curved surface of the mold and the curved surface of the guide plate slide closely, and the curved surface of the part can be processed by the cutter head
