Product Details

Molding is a process that can be used to create an object with three-dimensional features. The right type of molds for different applications will vary based on how long you want them to last, what material they are made out of Mold making is a complex process that requires the right type of equipment and expertise to produce quality products. When it comes to bespoke selection, there are many different factors that need to be considered when choosing the right mold for your needs.

High-quality durable mold, designed for multiple uses and made of steel that is resistant to the heat generated in the injection process; this type of mold can be used with waxes, paraffin, or other soft materials (Styrofoam, Plaster).

Low-quality mold, made of rubber or plastic that is not resistant to the heat generated during the injection process; this type of mold can only be used with waxes and paraffin.

What we show you is what an injection mold looks like. Injection molding is a type of very common plastic manufacturing technique. In this process, liquid materials (often polymers like ABS and PLA) are heated up to become molten before they are put into a machine where they can be injected into molds that have been created for the desired end-product. This method creates products with intricate designs without any seams or joints, making them very strong.

A high-quality mold should have a smooth surface that is easy to clean and can withstand the weight of your product when it’s in use without breaking or cracking. Rigid plastic and rubber injection molding are our areas of expertise, If you have injection molding needs, please do not hesitate to contact us!
